Before starting my training at Code Academy, I had completed basic and superficial programming courses. Overall, there was a lack of a clear goal. After completing my training at Code Academy, I formed many friendships that are still ongoing, improved my technical knowledge, as well as my teamwork skills. Currently, I am successfully developing and growing at Strypes as a Junior Feature Integrator.

Before starting my training at Code Academy, I had taken several basic programming courses, but I always felt like something was missing to take the next step. I searched extensively until I found Code Academy, which offered exactly what I was looking for: programming in C and C++, as well as databases, plus additional bonuses.
I had some basic knowledge and met the other requirements, which was a good start. I appreciated the entrance test, which helped filter out candidates and provided an indicator of whether one could handle the course.
The training was perfect; it provided a vast amount of knowledge, and the instructors were always responsive and helpful. They clarified concepts, provided additional insights beyond the material, and more. They always made time to assist, even going above and beyond, and they never made you feel silly for asking questions. Instead, they motivated you to learn more and encouraged self-improvement and a desire to delve deeper into programming.
The knowledge I gained was extensive and diverse, providing a solid foundation upon which much can be built. However, for anyone thinking that just attending lectures and completing homework assignments at home will be enough, they are mistaken. It truly requires dedicating time and a strong desire for self-study to adequately absorb the material provided by the mentors and instructors. They definitely instill a desire to learn and enjoy programming, rather than treating it as a hindrance.
Personally, I will continue to develop in specific directions based on what I learned, especially in databases, and I sincerely thank them for the knowledge they imparted and the time they dedicated to my education. Now, I feel much more confident in myself and my abilities, with clearer goals for my future development.
For anyone with questions or seeking clarification on anything related to the learning process, subject matter guidance, or anything else, they can feel free to email me at rosen_tk@mail.bg, where I’ll provide my mobile number for further contact, and we can discuss anything of interest.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Code Academy!!!
Ralitsa Djurkova
My name is Ralitsa Djurkova, and by profession, I am a kinesiotherapist. I have 12 years of work experience in the field, after which I made the decision to completely change my professional path.
I enrolled in several programming courses, attended interviews, but without success. I was wondering what to do and where to go next, so I talked to a friend of mine who is a programmer. He told me that if I wanted to learn programming, Code Academy was the place to be.
When I saw the advertisement for the Back-End Junior Developer course featuring SQL, PL/SQL, PRO*C, and C, I thought to myself, “This is it, this is where I belong.” Code Academy became the place where I learned to program, think, and solve problems. The course was intense, I won’t lie, it was challenging, but when you have a strong desire, discipline, and persistence, success is just around the corner.
After completing the training, I felt confident in my knowledge, thanks to the support of the entire Code Academy team, who were there for me and my fellow students throughout the training. And the result came quickly; after successfully completing the program, I started working as a developer.

Before starting my training at Code Academy, I thought that taking 2-3 courses from another academy would be enough for me to enter the field and successfully establish myself, and later on, I would contemplate whether this language/type of development was right for me.
I had tried to pass several trial tests, but without success, and then I realized that I needed more knowledge. At first, when I saw the job posting, I was really hoping to be given a chance because I was confident that I would do well, even willing to quit my job and fully dedicate myself to programming. Fortunately, I was given that chance, and I managed to succeed and start working successfully.
After the training, I realized how much I had learned in this short period, but when I started working, I realized that I had barely opened the door.
Now, one year later, after making that decision, I can only express my gratitude to the Code Academy team because it wasn’t easy, but it felt like we had support from mentors, lecturers, and the academy team itself. Thank you again.
Diman Kostadinov
Before starting my training at Code Academy, I had trouble finding work in the field because I didn’t live in Bulgaria and had difficulties adapting to life abroad. The course format allowed me to start it there and finish it here.
I had some experience in programming and computers in general. Several years had passed since my last involvement in this area. Code Academy was my opportunity to start fresh with an up-to-date curriculum, with real possibilities. There, I had the chance to practice and enhance a comprehensive set of skills for successful work – theory and practice – both independently and in groups. I gained access to all the necessary technologies and the connections between them needed to start the specific position.
A big plus was the communication with people who were already involved in this field.
After successfully completing the training, I was immediately hired on a trial basis. After that, I remained in the same position on a permanent contract, working with people I already knew from the course.
