The hero of today’s story is named Georgi Mitkov. His story is very inspiring for us and proves once again that when a person wants something, they find a way to achieve it. Georgi contemplated changing his profession several years ago, deeply impressed by the world of technology. He decided to requalify.
“We are increasingly dependent on technology. Nothing happens without technologies.”
“I watch a lot of football. In the football players’ boots used for training, they implanted a processor with Wi-Fi. This was done to extract very precise data during training, such as the load, the most active minute, what the player is doing, etc. Someone has coded something into that tiny processor. This is one of the reasons I got into programming. Not to mention electric cars. If you give Tesla your address, it drives you home.”
Georgi chose Code Academy and the Back-end Junior Developer course with SQL, PL/SQL, Embedded SQL, and Java. This choice speaks of trust from the very beginning, as Georgi decides to leave his current job and completely change his life. We are happy that he took this huge step in his professional development with our academy:
At Code Academy, There Are No Limits – The Sky is the Limit!
“I left my job. I had decided that if I was going to do something, I would do it like people do. I set aside a period of time to see if it would happen. Before trying at Code Academy, I tried with another academy. But I liked the conditions and the program here.”
At Code Academy, teachers are personal examples that motivate.
Georgi doesn’t spare his superlatives for the teacher who impresses him the most, Valentin Valchev (pictured on the left), lecturer of the START IT with Java course:
“He’s not like typical programmers; he’s not just a lecturer, he’s a coach. He knows how to adapt to the environment. When 30 people with ages between 20 and 35 with different views on life appear, you have to capture them. He knows how to do that.”
At Code Academy, if you want to be a programmer – you really become one!
This, of course, happens with persistence and a lot of hard work: “I spent a minimum of 4 hours a day studying. There were days when I studied for up to 7 hours, but that’s hard to achieve. If you perceive it as a commitment, you will be motivated and succeed.” – shares Georgi.
This is to be dedicated, to burn with your dream while realizing it. Georgi Mitkov is already living his dream of being a programmer and works as a Junior Developer at CODIX, an academy partner.
If you also think you have the necessary qualities and the desire to enter the world of code, explore Code Academy’s courses and enroll.
